In her role as Lead for Luminate’s Campaigns & Media team in Europe, Elise works to mobilise the public and grow a large and inclusive movement demanding a change in Big Tech’s business model to protect human rights and democracies. 

Elise is a human rights expert, researcher, advocate, and campaigner with over 15 years of experience working in Europe and Asia on issues such as crimes against humanity, war crimes, corporate abuses, freedom of expression, and the protection of at-risk human rights defenders. Prior to joining Luminate, she was the Director of Research and Advocacy with the ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights and worked at Amnesty International covering abuses in Myanmar.
